Together with the other companies, "Soft Industry" took part in Ukrainian Outsourcing Forum `2005. During two forum days our company representatives had an opportunity to listen to the speeches devoted to the subject matter, exchange opinions on acute questions of Ukrainian Outsourcing development and specifics of activity on the European and American markets.
Our representatives distinguished the following reports as most useful: "Kharkov – a leading regional center of software development in Ukraine" delivered by Eugene Kovalik, Sales and marketing Director, QArea; "Large IT projects in Ukraine. I believe that the Ukrainian Outsourcing Forum '2005 was extremely beneficial for our company.
On the one hand, western companies interested in placing outsourcing project on the Ukrainian market were present. This was actually the major attraction of the Forum.
On the other hand, this was a concentration of a very useful information. It concerned possible ways of entering western markets, certain certification aspects, international image of Ukraine on the global outsourcing market. Information was all the more useful because it was presented by the western professionals with the account of their experience and mentality. Reports of the local companies success on the outsourcing market gave food for learning as well.

Organizers did an excellent job bringing to Ukraine a number of real buyers from Europe / Americas, thanks! My feeling is that foreign participants of UOF-2005 represented much more euro / dollars per person actually budgeted for spending on offshore software services than international audience of a peer event regularly held in Russia since 2001.
Kvazar-Micro got introduced to one current customer and established a number of productive contacts with intermediaries and advisors at the forum. We expect a robust return-on-investment from UOF-2006 and recommend everyone to join!
